France’s network of jazz support organisations is very dense. Listed below are national and regional organisations, then national organisations concerned by jazz but not exclusively dedicated to it.

A federation of large ensembles of jazz and improvised music. Grands Formats facilitates exchanges and connections between artists, who then initiate actions.

An association of 101 independent record companies, that gathered to promote creative music, sell records, edit a free journal and organise professional conferences from time to time.

Regional organisation for the Southern part of the Middle East of France (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). They support emerging talents, artists’ residencies, organise concerts for children and seniors, and they host Forum Jazz, a yearly professional meeting.

Regional organisation for the Northern part of the Middle East of France (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté) that organises concerts, residencies and local professional meetings and publishes a journal, Tempo, now exclusively online.
