An annual showcase for Nordic jazz acts. 

The Icelandic Music Awards is a festival where Icelandic musicians and composers receive worthy attention for their work during the year. The awards are also a good opportunity to promote Icelandic music to Icelanders, and also to listeners abroad, and thus increase sales and publicity. 

Kraumur Music Fund is an independent Icelandic music fund and operation established by the Aurora Charity Foundation in the beginning of 2008 “to strengthen Icelandic musical life, primarily by supporting young musicians in performing and presenting their works.”
