Spain is a country with more than 46 million inhabitants divided into 17 regions, which develop their activity in a rather decentralized way. In the field of culture, and music in particular, there are some national institutions, but it's at the regional level where most of the music support is given. We're going to list the main support institutions at the national level, and we will also describe the regional level, pointing out only those regions with institutions are highlighted in this area.

The main export organizations are AIE Association of Artists and Interpreters, Instituto Cervantes, ICEX, Instituto de Comercio Exterior, Acción Cultural Española and SGAE Sociedad General de Autores and they focus on support for projects and international touring.
