Permanent programming with continuity throughout the year and a mix of national and international artists.
Venues
Spain has an abundant amount of jazz clubs spread throughout its geography. They arrived in the 60s, in cities like Barcelona, the Basque Country or Seville.
The prestigious North American magazine Downbeat has included five venues from spain in its ranking of the best jazz clubs in the world in 2018 (two in Madrid, two in Barcelona and one in Valencia).
Still there is no census of the number of clubs in Spain, but we can estimate that each of the 50 provinces of our country has at least one jazz club and some of them have multiple. Such as Barcelona, Madrid or Valencia.
