The 9th edition of Bozcaada Jazz Festival, held on September 5–7 with the theme of Embodiment, came to a close after three unforgettable days. Over 15,000 participants experienced a rich, multilayered program that flowed from day into night across three iconic venues—Ayazma Monastery, Habbele Beach, and Salhane. Highlights of the main stage included Kokoroko (UK), Electro Deluxe (FR), Mohini Dey (USA), M Lisa ft. Tolga Bilgin, and the Kerem Görsev Quintet (TR), while the seaside stage set the tone with electronic grooves and spontaneous encounters.
Beyond showcasing leading jazz musicians and fresh contemporary sounds, the program expanded into KEŞİF: a series of workshops, talks, pop-up performances, tastings, and interdisciplinary encounters that invited audiences to move from ideas into embodied experiences, exploring the transformative connections between music, body, and community.
With more than 50 events spread across the island and strong participation from the local community, the festival once again proved to be much more than a music event—transforming Bozcaada into a collective space of memory, connection, and discovery.
As we bid farewell to this year’s edition, excitement is already building: 4-5-6 September 2026 will mark the festival’s 10th anniversary, a milestone year that promises to be a truly special celebration.
