Bozcaada Jazz Festival returns for its ninth edition on September 5–6–7, bringing together leading names in jazz and exciting new voices on the island.
Kokoroko (UK), Electro Deluxe (FR), Mohini Dey (USA), M Lisa ft. Tolga Bilgin (TR), and Kerem Görsev Quintet (TR) will take the main stage while the festival offers a rich, multilayered experience with all-day concerts, beachside electronic music sets, and spontaneous creative encounters. This year, the festival unfolds across three iconic venues—Ayazma Monastery, Habbele Beach, and Salhane—shaping a musical journey that flows from day into night.
Expanding beyond music, the festival opens a space for intellectual and bodily exploration through its 2025 theme: “Embodiment.” The KEŞİF program dives into the transformative connection between music and the body, featuring panels, somatic workshops, and collective creation spaces. A variety of formats—discussions, embodied movement sessions, talks, and island walks—will explore the theme from multiple angles.
Highlights of this year’s KEŞİF program include:
– Experience-driven gatherings co-curated with A Corner in the World, known for its interdisciplinary work at the crossroads of art, culture, and the creative industries;
– A session with Genwise, a community supporting those in the “third 25 years” of life as they develop new ideas and projects;
– And the inaugural event of the Bozcaada Viticulture Fund, which will explore innovative approaches to reimagining the island’s 4,000-year-old winemaking heritage through future-oriented financial models.
