The National Library of Norway ensures the collection, protection and accessibility of historical jazz material. Furthermore, they conduct their own research and inform about Norwegian jazz history. Their work is a continuation of The Norwegian Jazz Archives, which were founded in the beginning of 1981 and transferred to the National Library of Norway in 2014.
