M/House of Jazz has launched its YouTube channel with “Blueprint”, a short documentary by director Rihards Gēcis exploring Latvia’s contemporary jazz scene. Available from 26 May, the film captures the energy, everyday lives and creative voices of Latvia’s emerging jazz musicians — both on and off stage — and includes moments from the acclaimed Brooklyn Jazz concert series.

The channel also features the first three Brooklyn Jazz concert recordings, including A Tribute to Miles Davis by trumpeter Reinis Puriņš. Alongside the digital launch, M/House of Jazz continues its live programme in Riga with the third cycle of Brooklyn Jazz, opening on 13 June with A Tribute to Cassandra Wilson by Gerda Timrota, and Young & Talented, a free terrace concert series from 8 July to 26 August supporting the next generation of Latvian jazz musicians.
