Project manager – full time (CDD 1 year) starting March 1st



music:LX is seeking a project manager for the jazz department starting March 1st, 2019. His/her mission will be to help music:LX develop and promote Luxembourgish Jazz artists, abroad. music:LX provides a vibrant, diverse and dynamic work environment with a young and motivated team.



Tasks:



Implement and maintain a sound relationship with local and international partners

Seek new partners and new synergies, European networks

Research global jazz markets and develop opportunities

Manage / update music:LX database

Artist consulting

Event organisation and logistics

Manage multiple projects

Create and/or discover new opportunities for artists

Promote Luxembourgish artists and music:LX’s events

Contribute to editorial content

Admin tasks (invoices, contracts…)

Manage budgets

Collect data and information for reports, files and statistics

Profile :

Bachelor’s degree

Working knowledge of the jazz industry and developments

4 years experience minimum in the music industry

Have an already established network within the jazz industry

Autonomous, show initiative, team spirit, creativity, flexibility, good general knowledge (music…), motivated, organized, dynamic

Good command of written and spoken French and English (German and Luxembourgish is a plus)

Computer skills: Office, Internet, Web 2.0, MAC OSX
