Established in 1964, Kongsberg Jazzfestival is one of the leading jazz festivals in Scandinavia. The festival presents a varied line-up of nearly 50 Norwegian, Nordic and International acts within modern jazz, experimental/free jazz and more commercial genres. Concerts are held at 15 different venues all over the city.
