On March 8th and 9th, all the partners of the Footprints project, gathered in Amsterdam to summarize the 2 years of Foorprints projects, its achievements and future goals for sustainable live music in Europe. The event featured talks by artists, industry experts, and professionals, who discussed crucial topics such as carbon footprint, touring models, climate justice, and career prospects for artists in a sector under immense pressure.
During the gathering, Periscope (Lyon/FR), Intl Jazz Platform (Lodz/PL), and Bimhuis (Amsterdam, NL) announced the launch of the Better Live project, which will continue the work initiated by the Footprints project. The Better Live project aims to create sustainable solutions for live music events, and it will focus on promoting eco-friendly touring models and reducing the environmental impact of music festivals and concerts.
We're thrilled to announce the official launch of Better Live, our new cooperation project! Building on the success of Footprints, we're excited to continue our mission to promote sustainable living and social responsibility through partnerships with like-minded organizations and businesses.
Stay tuned for more updates!
