Jazzopa is back for its fourth edition in 2025 featuring seven artists, after an Open Call with a record number of registrations.

Jazzopa is a collaborative laboratory created by Associação Sons da Lusofonia focused on music writing and performance for jazz, hip-hop and spoken-word artists, in dialogue with other artistic languages. Jazzopa is based on a creative studio model, directed to participants with consolidated musical skills, who in each edition compose the music and the lyrics that will make the repertoire of that year line-up, based on the idea of ​​improvisation in real time.
