Cultural Funding

A government funded foundation supporting Finnish music in general. MES awards grants for e.g. touring, recording, composing, event organising and marketing both in Finland and abroad. International professionals may apply from MES provided the project includes Finnish music.

Funding for travel costs, covers many European countries and can be applied both to/from Finland.

Hanasaari administrates four Nordic cultural foundations: Finnish-Swedish, Finnish-Norwegian, Finnish-Danish and Icelandic-Finnish. Any joint project including artists or other cultural professionals from aforementioned countries may apply.

Supports German artists’ performances in Finland.

Supports French artists’ performances in Finland.

Supports Italian artists’ performances in Finland.

Supports British artists’ performances in Finland.

Supports Hungarian artists’ performances in Finland.
