Stichting So What’s Next?

In 2013, the So What’s Next? adventure started from its home base Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and after a successful first edtion emerged into a 3-day festival that fanned out over the city of Eindhoven on the Sunday.

A close collaboration with music scouts from New York and Los Angeles led into the annual USA Gateway program for which we invite 10 up an coming bands from the USA. The Sunday is a showcase day for young, promising bands who've applied in an Open Call, followed by a selection of 17 bands/artists by a professional jury. This day also contains a Professionals Program with a brunch, keynotes by inspiring writers/journalists and a panel discussion at the van Abbemuseum of Contemporary Art for which we invite delegates from the international music industry around Europe.

Those concerts take place around town in music venues, streets, shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes.

So What’s Next? is organised annually by Stichting So What’s Next? in collaboration with partners Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and North Sea Jazz / Mojo Concerts.
