So What’s Next? festival 2021

So What’s Next? festival in Eindhoven (NL) is a 3-day music evolution with groundbreaking concerts of jazz & beyond artists of the new millennium. Jazz is the starting point but surely not the only frame of reference.

On October 29, 30 & 31, 2021 – the 9th edition of So What’s Next? festival will happen live again with 60+ performances!

On Friday there will be a concert, especially curated for the festival, called Orbit, with Bram Stadhouders + Nils Petter Molvaer + Jan Bang + Dominique Vleeshouwers, followed by KO Brass. On Saturday, at the Main Hall of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, we present a show by the Metropole Orchestra conducted by Jacomo Bairos + José James + Gaidaa + Nana Adjoa. Many other concerts will take place in the Small Hall and the foyers, like Joel Ross, Butcher Brown, Steam Down and Naia Izumi.

We start the Sunday with a Professionals Brunch followed by keynotes & Q&A’s at the Van Abbemuseum of Contemporary Art with Gret Tate, Adam Neely and Sara McDonald.

In the afternoon So What’s Next? presents an extensive showcase program with the most exciting upcoming talents from the USA and Europe, on many surprising locations downtown Eindhoven. This program focuses on representatives from the lively jazz scene of NY and LA and young and upcoming bands from The Netherlands and the rest of Europe. See our full program at www.sowhatsnext.nl
