Description:
The Generator Sztuki Foundation was founded by Szczecin musicians Michał Starkiewicz and Tomasz Licak in 2019, joined by Radek Wośko in 2024. The foundation's primary mission is to create and support the Szczecin music community and promote popular music. Over the past seven years, the foundation has launched a number of initiatives, including the Jam Session – reaching its 100th edition in late October 2025, the "Jazz Generator" concert series focused on presenting ambitious projects, the "Young Generator" composition competition as well as Odra Jazz Festival/Jazz Oder Festival with main focus to bring German and Polish musicians together and present new music in unusual spaces. In total, we have organized approximately 150 artistic and concert events, attracting nearly 250 musicians and nearly 10,000 listeners.
