Call for Mentors of female and non-binary music students

We are pleased to share with you the launch of the first call of a two-editions Mentorship Programme we are involved in, together with three other European networks.

This Mentorship Programme is a Creative Europe co-funded joint initiative of four leading European networks: European Association of Conservatoires (AEC), European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA), Europe Jazz Network (EJN), and Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI, through its Ethno programme).

For this first edition, running between 2025 and 2027, the four networks will appoint nine mentors (three from EJN) and select nine mentees from among students and alumni of AEC member institutions, with the objective of introducing emerging talents to the music industry, while actively working to enhance gender equality and non-binary visibility in the music industry.

The present call invites established professionals to join as mentors, so if you want to share your professional expertise, help shape careers, and contribute to greater equality and visibility in the European music sector, please read carefully the details and eligibility criteria of the attached call and apply as follows:

SEATS AVAILABLE for the first edition (2025-2027): 3 from active* EJN members and EJN Honorary members

After the application deadline, a committee appointed by the Board, together with the other networks, will review all submissions and carefully match each selected mentee with a mentor based on expertise, needs, and expectations.
