SPOLETO JAZZ 2026
Image

Drawing inspiration from the deep spiritual echoes of John Coltrane’s masterpiece, this year's motto — Jazz! Is a Love Supreme — transforms improvisation from a mere technical showcase into an act of profound courage. It is an inner unfolding where every note seeks a response and every silence becomes a gesture of absolute trust, celebrating a viscerally human art that embraces tension, fragility, and the raw urgency of connection across the stages of the Teatro Caio Melisso and the Teatro Nuovo G. C. Menotti.

Get ready to be blown away by the magnetic energy of star multi-instrumentalist Judith Hill, renowned for her collaborations with legends like Michael Jackson and Prince, as she kicks off the festival with a soul-stirring fusion of jazz, soul, and R&B on 16 October. On 6 November, an exceptional double set will showcase European piano brilliance: beginning at 21:00 with the intimate poetry of Hungarian prodigy Zsigmond Gerlóczy, and continuing at 22:00 with the vibrant Iberian mastery of the Daniel García Trio. The festival will draw to a thrilling close on 20 November, when London's powerhouse vocalist Emma Smith—celebrated for her work with Michael Bublé, Jeff Goldblum, and the Quincy Jones Orchestra—takes the stage with her quartet for an unforgettable evening of theatrical flair and swinging elegance.
