Between 4 and 30 October 2023, Ploiești will host the highly anticipated event of the autumn season, the Ploiești Jazz Festival, a cultural landmark for Romanian and international jazz. With a tradition of over 50 years, this festival brings high-quality jazz music every year and offers a platform for renowned artists from Romania and around the world. With the support of royal patronage and creative initiatives, the festival continues to evolve and inspire jazz enthusiasts throughout the country.
After an intense month-long campaign, which included painting exhibitions, collection posters, historical photographs, as well as Jazz in the bus and extraordinary concerts in malls and other unconventional places in Ploiești, the Ploiești Jazz Festival, organized by the Ploiești Philharmonic, will take place between October 25 and 29. Renowned artists will perform on the stage of the Ploiești Philharmonic, including the Symphony Orchestra of the Ploiești Philharmonic with the New Vegas Show, the Ploiești Jazz Trio with the Philharmonic Choir, Antonio Farao Trio, Giovanni Mirabassi Quartet, Omar Sosa Quarteto AfroCubano, China Moses & the Vibe Tribe, Omri Mor Trio & Quintet, Don Braden Quartet, Rick Margitza Quartet, and Roberto Fonseca Trio.
