For the third year in a row Latvian Music Information Centre announces an open call for young jazz musicians from the Baltic countries, with the finals taking place on November 4, 2026, during Riga Music Week. Young jazz soloists or jazz ensembles under the age of 30 can apply until September 21 – the competition will be judged by a professional jury consisting of international experts. All finalists of the competition will be invited to attend Riga Music Week professional program and showcase concerts for free; the winner will receive a grant of 1,000 euros to create a professional studio demo recording.
