A new album by Organic Trio is coming soon. Saturn’s Spell, second album for the band, will be worldwide released in January 2017 by Jazz Family (FR).
The trio is an encounter between Europe and Unites States. Formed by New Orleans’ guitarist Brian Seeger, the French organist Jean-Yves Yung and the Luxembourgish drummer Paul Wiltgen (drums), Organic Trio succeeded in renewing the classic Hammond format. They achieved their particular sonority by going on swinging out and getting funky, at the same time exploring new sound paths. Thus, the ethereal, the poignant and bombastic become the hallmarks that make the difference in their music.
The concert release for Saturn’s Spell will take place on March 11th at Duc des Lombards (Paris, FR).
