And at this moment after two years of Pandemic, people feel like they want to go back to normality and stay together” says the artistic director Enzo Favata. “This year we are back on the Bocche Di Bonifacio strait, where everything started 22 years ago. The Festival starts from La Maddalena, one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean, and from there the caravan crosses several villages in the north and will finish its road trip in Castelsardo, one of the most beautiful traditional villages in Italy. Our passion led us to grow in all those years, bringing international music and cultural tourism to small villages under a continuous depopulation process. A connection with the communities that have a strong tradition and identity and are fighting to find their place in this modern world and that need to be preserved. A format that started in close relationship with the local communities and hosted some International jazz stars, introduced the format of concerts at dawn and sunset, in harmony and respect with the natural environment, promoting  experiential and sustainable tourism.” Says Favata.
