First names of Music Meeting Festivals are revealed ranging from Indigenous singer songwriter Ngulmiya to Moroccan female gnawa master Bab L'Bluz. Rich jazz and improvised music program includes names like Australian clarinetist/composer Aviva Endean and two EJN Green Pilot Tour bands: French-Syrian SARĀB and German-French Daniel Erdmann's Therapie de Couple. In 2024 MMF invited two guest curators: Jermaine Kanbier (Bimhuis) and Tim Strangers (Space is the Place) who will bring into the festival fascinating music discoveries. Tim will present Superinca and South African project SOFAYA, both international projects based in Amsterdam. Jermaine - two more fresh acts: Australian-German ZEITGEIST with guest Wayne Snow and Dutch-Ghanaian artist Bnnyhunna mixing hip-hop, R&B, jazz, soul and afro.
Music Meeting Festival dates are 18-20th May 2024, welcome to Nijmegen.
