The third edition of the nomadic Motives Festival is going XL at De Velinx, Tongeren, between 1-4 October 2026! Co-organized by JazzLab and Motives For Jazz, the festival showcases the very best of Belgian jazz, featuring ten incredible bands (including Alex Koo, An Pierlé, and Dear Uncle Lennie) and the children’s performance BRIES.

This year is extra special thanks to an intense collaboration with Belgium Booms x JazzLab, featuring four showcase spots selected by an international jury, a network afternoon and a visit to the vibrant city of Liège with more concerts on Saturday afternoon. We are thrilled to be welcoming several international colleagues already.
