Love Supreme Jazz Festival: July 5 - 7, 2013

Love Supreme Jazz Festival

  Friday 5 - Sunday 7 July, Glynde Place, East Sussex, BN8 6SX

After the triumphant performances of Rokia Traoré and Penguin Cafe at Glastonbury last weekend, the next festival on the calendar is the Love Supreme Jazz Festival, set in the beautiful Sussex countryside of Glynde Place.

The festival, which takes place this weekend, promises to be a great one;  filled with the best names in Jazz, Funk and Soul from established greats such as Jools Holland, Bryan Ferry, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, Branford Marsalis, as well the up-and-coming next generation – Robert Glasper, Snarky Puppy, Arun Ghosh and many more, all spread across four stages.  The full day-by-day listings can be downloaded here.
Love Supreme Festival is produced by Love Supreme Ltd and Serious are programme consultants.

Aside from the music keeping you moving, there’s plenty more to keep you occupied, with a great range of food stalls for all tastes, several bars to keep you watered and even a Grand Marnier bar full of Hidden Charms.

If the thought of camping fills you with fear, you can buy day, as well as weekend, tickets; with the last trains back from Glynde to London Victoria leaving at around 10pm, and regular shuttle-buses to Brighton from 9pm to 2am, you’ll be able to have a full day’s festivalling and still be in your own bed at night!

The forecast is looking good for the weekend too, so don’t forget to bring suncream, and rugs and cushions to keep comfortable whilst watching your favourite acts.

We’ll see you down the front!
