Join 40-50 other professionals this August for a week of deep immersion, inspiration, and artistic growth at the annual Summer Session jazz camp in Denmark.
This year’s Summer Session offers a rare opportunity for professional jazz musicians to learn from an exceptional faculty of international artists, including Arooj Aftab, Luques Curtis, María Grand, Julia Hülsmann, Nasheet Waits, Elena Pinderhughes, and Gilad Hekselman.
Over the years, Summer Session has featured legendary artists like Michael Brecker, Eddie Gomez, Terri Lyne Carrington and Bill Frisell, to name just a few. Led by artistic director Nikolaj Hess, this unique program continues to inspire and elevate the Danish jazz community.
Summer Session offers a rare opportunity for professional jazz musicians to network with peers, build new partnerships, engage in masterclasses and creative exploration, find fresh inspiration, and reconnect with their musical practice in a focused, supportive environment. Set in the idyllic surroundings of Krogerup Folk High School – close to the sea and forest – Summer Session is the perfect place to dive into six days of learning, playing and connecting with fellow musicians.
Summer Session 2025 takes place at Krogerup Folk High School in Denmark from August 3 to August 9.
