JAZZOPA is the annual collaborative creation and performance programme of Associação Sons da Lusofonia, an EJN member organisation. Dedicated to the dialogue between jazz, hip-hop, spoken word and other contemporary artistic languages, it offers emerging artists a creative laboratory for collective experimentation, studio immersion, professional development, and collaborative composition and performance.

For the 2026 edition, eight artists have been selected: Grisly Faye (theremin/keys), Zé Pedroso (bass), Maria Barankievicz (piano/keys), Tinta Persona (rap), Fábio Rodrigues (drums), Lusitana YZ (voice), and TRP Marques (trumpet).

JAZZOPA is produced by Associação Sons da Lusofonia, with artistic direction by Carlos Martins and André Fernandes, and is supported by DGARTES and Lisbon City Council.
