The 29th edition of the Jazz & Wine of Peace Festival takes place from 22 to 25 October in Cormòns and across the Friulian and Slovenian Collio. Organised by Circolo Controtempo and curated by Enrico Bettinello as artistic director, the cross-border festival brings together music, people and the cultural heritage of the region, with concerts hosted in wineries, theatres and historic venues. The program features 25 musical events, ranging from well-known musicians of European and US jazz to young talents from the international scene.

Among the artists featured in this edition are Alfa Mist, multi-instrumentalist, rapper and producer, one of the most influential musicians on the British music scene; the Italian singer, composer and pianist Carolina Bubbico who presents Vocàlia, a joyful project exploring the expressive potential of the voice; also, the Scottish composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist corto.alto – the alias of Liam Shortall – who brings to Festival his distinctive blend of jazz improvisation, electronic production, broken beat, dub and hip-hop influences.

The 2026 edition also marks the 100th birthday of John Coltrane, celebrated through the performance by the acclaimed saxophonist Isaiah Collier. A new feature of this edition is the presence of an artist in residence: the talented guitarist Teis Semey, who will take part in three different events throughout the festival.

Through the renovated dialogue between music, wine and territory, Jazz & Wine of Peace continues to create opportunities for encounters, listening, human and musical exchange, reaffirming the idea of peace among peoples.
