Eastern Europe’s leading competition for upcoming jazz bands has just announced its 2025 finalists. After receiving a record-breaking 308 applications from 50 countries, the jury selected 14 bands instead of the originally planned 12, due to the exceptional quality of entries.
All finalists will compete for over €50,000 in prizes. Here you can check out the full list of bands, and if you’d like a taste of their sound, we’ve prepared an Official Playlist.
The event takes place outdoors in Central Park, Cluj-Napoca, from September 19-21, and feels just like a festival with jam sessions, music related activities, food & wine areas. By the end of August, we’ll announce the headliners who will close each night of the event.
