We can already confirm some of the names on the bill of the 57th edition of San Sebastian’s Jazz Festival. Many of the stars in the music scene will shine once again in our city. As a foretaste, three fantastic pianists: the legendary Herbie Hancock, the brilliant Yann Tiersen and the marvellous Hiromi. Three extraordinary singers: the powerhouse Gregory Porter, the exquisite Diana Krall and the elegant Kurt Elling. All join Calexico, with its vibrant border music, in confirming their appearance at the coming edition of Jazzaldia.
Keler Stage
As things stand today, it seems possible that concerts may be able to go ahead on the Keler Stage of the Zurriola Beach in 2022. The organisation is therefore working on the programme of this free venue to have brought us countless unforgettable moments following its enforced lockdown during the last two editions of Jazzaldia due to the pandemic.
JazzEñe
JazzEñe will celebrate its 8th edition. This initiative by the SGAE Foundation focussed on achieving the internationalisation of Spanish jazz returns to delight us yet again this year as part of the Jazzaldia activities.
Eight of the best bands in the national Jazz scene will perform for the general public and festival programmers from all over the world in the endeavour to take the sound of Spanish Jazz into the international arena.
Ticket sales
The full programme of concerts in the Plaza de la Trinidad and the Kursaal Auditorium will be announced towards the end of November 2021. Tickets and season tickets will go on sale simultaneously for both venues.
