Today, Europe Jazz Network (EJN) is pleased to launch our renewed online platform: www.europejazz.net

This new website reflects a significant step forward in how we present, share and connect the work of our network. It has been redesigned with a clear focus on usability, accessibility and a more intuitive user experience, offering a cleaner interface and a more modern visual identity.

Beyond aesthetics, the new platform is built with attention to sustainability, reducing both digital footprint and server usage, an approach that aligns with our broader commitment to responsible and conscious practices in the cultural sector.

A key aspect of this renewal has been a thorough review of content. Over time, several databases had become outdated or no longer actively maintained. Rather than accumulating information, we chose to streamline and prioritise quality over quantity. The result is a platform that is easier to navigate and more relevant for users.

The website is now structured around two main pillars:

  • EJN and our initiatives, presenting the network, our mission, initiatives, resources and case studies, offering insights into projects that shape the European jazz and creative music ecosystem. As a Europe-wide association of over 200 organisations across 38 countries, we continue to support collaboration, innovation and exchange within the sector.

  • EJN Members, a comprehensive and dynamic section dedicated to our members, featuring interactive maps and searchable databases. Users can explore festivals, clubs, venues and organisations across Europe and beyond, using filters to easily navigate the most extensive database of jazz and improvised music professionals on the continent.

In addition, the platform hosts regularly updated news from both EJN and our members, reinforcing the website as a living space for the network and our initiatives.

The new website also includes clear entry points for those who wish to engage with EJN, whether by joining the network, subscribing to the newsletter, or getting in touch.

With this new platform, we aim to offer a more focused, accessible and meaningful digital space, one that better reflects the diversity, vitality and collaborative spirit of the European jazz and creative music community.
