From November 26th till 28th Belgium Booms and Jazzlab will be hosting an attractive visitors’ program at ‘BRAND! Festival', organised by arts centre nona. 20 international delegates and people from the vibrant Belgian Jazz scene will meet in the city of Mechelen, Belgium. With confirmed attendance from, among others, Bimhuis, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Jazz Saalfelden, Jazzfest Berlin, Opis Jazz Club, and April Jazz, it promises to be a dazzling three-day program.
BRAND! is focusing 100% on the vibrant Belgian jazz scene, with two central guests (Hanne De Backer and Mattias De Craene) presenting new projects, and another myriad of bands embodying the many faces of our scene. And as part of the BRAND! program Belgium Booms x JazzLab are presenting four export-ready Belgian bands selected by an international jury: Alex koo Trio, Bodem, Youran (Joachim Badenhorst) and Dishwasher_.
