On December 10th in cinema “Splendid Palace” concert of the fast growing international a cappella group “Accent”!
“Accent” is an international a cappella group of six men who have created their own niche in the popular singing style. All participants of the band are recognized singers and instrumentalists, but together they are able to create new shades of vocal jazz.
In Riga „Accent” will present their new album „Christmas all the way” with both well-known festive songs as well as fresh compositions. Band itself describes the new album as its most ambitious project ever including prominent artists such as Cuban/American Trouble and pianist Arturo Sandoval, and the American saxophonist George Shelby, and in Riga they will present the album in a cappella!
Band members – Jean-Baptist Craipeau (France), Simon Akesson (Sweden), Danny Fong (Canada), Andrew Kesler (Canada), baritone James Rose (United Kingdom) and bass Evan Sanders (USA) – came together thanks to social media. They became interested in each other on the YouTube, where they became fans for each individual vocal videos.
Concert starts at 7pm. Tickets at the “Biļešu Serviss” box offices and online.
