In 2026, Athens Jazz celebrates 25 years as a defining presence in the city’s cultural landscape. What began as an initiative to bring international jazz to the heart of Athens and showcase the local talent, has evolved into a distinctive open-air festival, offering free access to high-quality music and welcoming large audiences of all ages.

The 25th Athens Jazz will take place from May 25 to May 31, 2026, at Technopolis City of Athens, transforming once again the venue into a vibrant meeting point for music, creativity, and community.

Over the years, Athens Jazz has hosted an impressive array of artists from across the globe, becoming a meeting point for diverse sounds, cultures, and creative expression. True to its spirit, the festival has consistently highlighted both established names and emerging talents, offering a platform where tradition meets innovation and where jazz evolves through dialogue with contemporary genres.

This anniversary edition will feature 18 special crossover, international acts defying easy categorization and exploring the outer limits of the jazz universe. Marking this milestone, the 25th edition will also present two special celebratory projects dedicated to the evolution of Greek jazz and its ongoing dialogue with the contemporary global sound, highlighting both its roots and its dynamic present.

The festival will be further enriched with a wide range of parallel activities, offering a full and engaging program that expands beyond the concerts and enhances the Athens Jazz experience.
