Cancellation of 12 Points festival 2020

12 Points

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 edition of the 12 Points Festival.

It will not take place in Dublin in late September, as originally scheduled. However, the festival will return in 2021 and, yes, it will be hosted in Dublin!

There are many compounding factors which have influenced this decision and we are disappointed that we cannot present a select cohort of Europe's finest innovators for the first time since the festival's inception in 2007. We are, as ever, primarily concerned with the safety of our artists and audiences and we do not feel we can proceed given the current circumstances.

However, do stay tuned, because we are still committed to promoting the best of emerging European talent and look forward to sharing a retrospective of our journey so far, with music from some of the more than 500 wonderful artists we have hosted at 12 Points over the past 13 years.

For now, we would like to thank our funders, venue partners, and supporters including the Arts Council, Europe Jazz Network, The Sugar Club, and many more, for their generosity and continued encouragement.

Stay connected with us on FacebookInstagram and Twitter, and we look forward to returning with another exciting 12 Points festival in 2021!
