BIMHUIS

Recently the lockdown in the Netherlands came to an end and we are thrilled to open our doors to the public again. Christian McBride, Marquis Hill, Lakacia Benjamin and many more thriving names are being confirmed and happily added to our agenda. Nevertheless we will continue to livestream with our streaming channel BIMHUIS TV.

BIMHUIS TV was created before the pandemic and is the online channel on which the best concerts in the BIMHUIS are broadcasted live and can be watched 24/7.  So missed your favorite concert? No problem! Want to check out live performances of emerging jazz talent from your living room? That is possible! Many shows are offered as a livestream under the name BIMHUIS RADIO &TV and can be followed on YouTube and Facebook.

Our focus is to produce high quality recordings with a well lit stage, musical camera work and permanent cameras that we remotely can control. During the lockdowns we were able to stream on a -almost- weekly basis and contribute to the financial situation of artists and keep in contact with our public. Not only we reached our loyal visitors at home but also a new international public, which now covers more than 80% of the viewers.

Although we will hopefully say goodbye to the pandemic soon, BIMHUIS TV is a part that will stay. This way, our fantastic program remains available to a large international audience.
