After several months of preparation, Le Périscope and its European partners as part of the Better Live project published a manifesto entitled: ‘Small venues are the future of live music’.
Its purpose is clearly political: in a context of global warming and dwindling resources, this text warns of the urgent need for the music sector to undertake a systemic transformation in order to imagine the future of live music. A future that finally recognises the key role played by small venues (less than 300 seats) and medium-sized venues (up to 2,000 seats).

This campaign has no logo or signature: it belongs to all venues — throughout Europe — so that it can be shared as widely as possible.
