Live@BIRD is the leading venue for Black live music in Rotterdam and the Netherlands. 

Jazz, hip-hop, and Black electronic music (which we call "blacktronica") form our artistic pillars – groove-based genres rooted in Afro-American and African diaspora heritage, including soul, funk, R&B, house, grime, amapiano, afrobeats, and more. We deliberately programme in a club setting to keep the experience accessible and informal.

Our programme is structured around three areas: a main programme built around our musical DNA, a talent development programme, and special in which we programme interdisciplinarity and push the artistic boundaries of our profile.
