We’re happy to present the Jazz Migration #12 selection!

This year, more than 80 groups, supported by festivals and venues across France, applied to Jazz Migration. Over 100 programmers listened to the 15 finalist groups and selected four winners, once again highlighting, if any reminder were needed, that the emergence of jazz and improvised music relies in part on the commitment of festivals and venues, particularly those within the AJC network.

With FELSENMEER, Moustik Haterz, NENO, and Tornade Spectrale, the Jazz Migration #12 selection of 15 artists reaffirms its mission to support emerging new forms, with an average age of under 28.5. It also reflects, once again, the long-term and dedicated scouting work carried out by presenters deeply engaged in their local territories, with four groups coming from different regions. The four winning groups are now entering a two-year artistic and professional development program, which will culminate in a French and international tour in 2027. This professional support will also be extended to the finalist groups, as well as to the musicians involved in our Initiales program, benefiting more than 50 artists in total. Through Jazz Migration, these musicians will receive support from a committed network of professionals.

Congratulations and welcome to them!
