We are delighted to announce the 35th edition of the Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival, an unmissable event that, once again, will turn the Canary Islands into an international epicenter for jazz and music without borders.
This year, the festival presents an exceptional lineup that combines established legends with the most innovative talents on the current scene. The main highlight of this edition will be the two symphonic concerts by British genius Jacob Collier. The multi-instrumentalist, acclaimed for his boundless imagination and winner of seven Grammy Awards, will perform accompanied by the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra (OFGC), under the expert direction of Suzie Collier. These highly anticipated, star-studded events will take place at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and the Auditorio de Tenerife.
Joining him, we will welcome Yellowjackets, the historic American quartet led by Russell Ferrante and Bob Mintzer. With a 43-year career and following their recent Grammy nomination for their album Fasten Up, the band will demonstrate why they remain one of the most influential groups in the genre.
The lineup also confirms the virtuous Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan, who arrives to present his highly anticipated new album, Manifeste. Hamasyan promises to dazzle the audience with his masterful fusion of powerful jazz improvisation, progressive rock, and the rich folk tradition of Armenia.
Likewise, we celebrate emerging talent and the local scene with the official participation of the brilliant pianist and composer Lucía Rey, the recent winner of the Plataforma Jazz España 2026/2027 awards.
As if that weren't enough, the festival will continue to expand its sonic and rhythmic horizons with the confirmation of world-class artists. Among them are the Brazilian virtuosity of the Hamilton de Holanda Trio, the overwhelming funk energy of Ghost-Note, and the always surprising performance of the Marco Mezquida Trio, alongside many other artists who will complete this historic edition.
We encourage you to closely follow the updates of this festival which, with 35 years of history behind it, continues its commitment to uniting and inspiring through creative music.
See you this year in the Canary Islands to celebrate jazz!
