Cultural Funding

The Swedish Arts Council is a government authority supporting arts, culture and international exchange. Swedish organizations can apply for different sorts of funding, including international collaboration projects or tour funding.

The Arts Grants Committee is a government authority that promotes opportunities for artists to further develop their artistic creativity and practice. The Committee provides grants for international cultural exchange and travel grants. Contribution to international cultural exchange can refer to Swedish artists participating in exchange programs abroad, and foreign artists and other persons invited to Sweden, to exchange ideas or work with Swedish artists. Travel grants for individual artists can be applied for Swedish artists' self-initiated trips in cases where there is no invitation.
