Media
Representation of general media nearly disappeared in the dominant print media, but on the other hand, the dominant print media has generally seen a diminished readership and the fragmented media landscape is a given nowadays. This does mean that it is somewhat harder to address the wider population, with the niche media reaching mostly those already dedicated.
The most important media for jazz and related musical forms in Slovenia (though, jazz practitioners of a more traditional bent might have a dissenting opinion here). It is not only a radio, it is also an extensive web portal and podcast provider. It has one weekly, explicitly jazz dedicated show, but jazz (in terms of reviews, overviews, references and playlists) is a part of many of its other shows.

All three of the national radios occasionally deal with jazz music (at least by way of news), but Radio ARS is the only one that is consistently covering jazz and its outer reaches by way of regular specialised shows.
The student radio of the Eastern half of Slovenia, this one is much less prominent than Radio Študent but it does play jazz music and occasionally cover the scene.
A web portal about Slovene music, at least a significant part of it (mostly ignoring the mainstream pop and the very popular folk pop folk pop - waltz & polka - scene). It is managed by the aforementioned SIGIC. A lot of quality coverage, reviews, interviews, essays and the like, reviewing a significant part of new Slovene jazz releases.
A web portal on the more experimental region of music, from experimental electronica to jazz and improvised music. One important feature is a comprehensive calendar of events, though the portal also publishes essays, interviews, etc.
Another portal run by SIGIC, this one is in written English and focuses and the international dimension of Slovene musical happenings. Among other things it runs a calendar of Slovene musical performances abroad - with jazz musicians among the more prominent in this regard.
Glasna continues the Jeunesses Musicales International's tradition in the publishing of music periodicals. Published four times per year, it covers the fields of classical music and jazz.
A web portal about music run by volunteers – with a notable dimension of them being respected journalists and academics.
A Wikipedia-modelled database offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage.
