One of the few labels in Slovenia that publishes (renowned) authors from abroad as well as Slovenia, with jazz and improvised music being the core of its fast-expanding catalogue.
A label ran by Radio Student, it’s publishing programme is focused (though not exclusively) on younger, up-and-coming musicians from Slovenia. Nevertheless, it is one of crucial nodes for new music in Slovenia, with the more explorative reaches of jazz are frequently featured.
Maybe best to cite their motto: “Allusion on great novel of Samuel Beckett comes as the right one for music (or rather ''organisation of sounds''?) that we would like to present - intriguing but with questionable character.” In short, sound art and improv, with the latter sharing some ground with jazz. It features artists from across Europe.
Predominantly linked to radio and television programmes of various genres or various archival projects. Nevertheless, it publishes jazz albums of Slovene artists fairly frequently.
Publishing jazz albums alongside folk and (the subtle side of) pop music, with even the latter releases (by Slovene artists) often venturing into jazz tinged territories.
