Cultural Funding
Adam Mickiewicz Institute is a national cultural institution whose mission is to build and communicate the cultural dimension of Poland by initiating international cooperation and cultural exchange. It also promotes Polish artists by financing the travel costs for artists abroad within the framework of “Polish Culture around the World Programme”.

Polish institutions and organisation can apply for funds to develop their initiatives within the number of programmes, including organisation of music events, cultural and artistic education or cultural entrepreneurship. Individual Polish artists can also apply for scholarships.
Organisation formed in 1918 to bring together composers, poets, dramatists, translators, screenwriters, lyricists and choreographers. It manages authors’ rights, granting licenses on their behalf, collecting money due them, and pursuing any claims of rights’ infringement. ZAiKS also assists many of the activities of the Polish authors, giving prizes in competitions, running Authors’ Retreat Houses, and offering the artists much needed social assistance. Individual artists and organisations can apply for funds to develop their projects.
