Music Norway’s mission is to facilitate growth in interest, and use, of Norwegian music of all genres.

Norsk Jazzforum, was founded in 1953, is a non-profit organisation which aims at connecting the Norwegian jazz scene. It aims to work for the benefit of Norwegian jazz, culturally and artistically.

The West Norwegian Jazz Center is a regional center for jazz covering the counties of Vestland and Rogaland. The centre manages the regional jazz scene Bergen Jazzforum in Bergen, and organise regional tour programmes.

The regional centre for jazz music in Eastern Norway, geographically covering the counties of Oslo, Akershus, Hedmark, Oppland, Buskerud, Vestfold and Østfold. ENJC include a number of 30 jazz clubs, 60 big bands, 5 festivals and more than 300 members.

Sørnorsk jazzsenter founded in 1998 is a regional promotion and service center for jazz, covering the southern counties of Norway: Agder and Telemark/Vestfold. The Jazz Center's mandate is to promote jazz and related genres, primarily through concerts.

The Mid-Norway Jazz Center is covering the two central Norwegian counties Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag. The center initiates and organises new projects and tours. Over the years MNJ's work has developed ensembles such as Trondheim Jazz Orchestra

Nordnorsk Jazzsenter (NNJS) is a regional production, dissemination and knowledge center for jazz in the three northern counties of Norway. The main purpose of NNJS is the conveying, and stimulation of increasing activity of jazz and related music.

The National Library of Norway ensures the collection, protection and accessibility of historical jazz material. Furthermore, they conduct their own research and inform about Norwegian jazz history.
