Touring Fundamentals

Work visas are needed for any foreign nationals to legally work in Israel. So a B-1 Entry and Work Visa needs to be acquired. If the performance or event means that the artist will be working for more than one month, an Employment permit must be issued. When a group consists of more than 10 performers, an additional document must be submitted, with a list of all the artists. Some nationalities have automatic visa approval upon request, and some need to get approval, it depends on the agreements between states/countries.

The Visa should be acquired through an Israeli embassy, or with a local partner to submit directly to the Ministry of Interior. After the covid peak times, the government also required proof of health insurance (unsure if this is still in place). Note that ALL information supplied here is not official, not is it consultation, so everything needs to be checked with the formal offices.
