Established in 2019 by EJN and 12 Points Festival, an Award for excellence and innovation in emerging artists that will be awarded annually at 12 Points.

An award for excellence in Irish Jazz, from Improvised Music Company in 2021, to recognise and celebrate Irish jazz talent of all ages and levels nationally.

 

A biannual award, launching in 2021, providing a platform for the best of emerging young jazz talent (aged 13-18) on the island of Ireland, with prizes of bursaries, recordings and performance platforms. 

BAN BAM Commission & Development Award 2020/2021 is a new creative commissioning and career development opportunity open to Irish-born or resident female composers on the island of Ireland (North and South) presented by Improvised Music Company (IMC) and Moving on Music (MOM).

Jazz Promotion Network’s annual conference is scheduled in Belfast for 2021, but changes locations every year.

The Society of Musicology in Ireland hosts a conference around academic studies in music, which includes multiple genres including jazz. Calls for papers often include formats such as lecture-recitals. 

The inaugural Documenting Jazz conference took place in Dublin in 2019. It has since rotated to other cities.
