The festival Una striscia di terra feconda’ (born in 1998) created by the Teatro dell'Ascolto Association hosted and produced the best Italian and French jazz, witnessing its extraordinary richness: Trovesi, Portal, Gaslini, Sclavis, Tonolo, Fresu, Petrella, Bollani, Texier, Pieranunzi, Salis, Bosso, Humair, Romano, Del Fra, Rea, Falzone, Minafra, Collignon, Giuliani, Bearzatti, Italian Instabile Orchestra, Lockwood, Giuliani, Godard, Bex, Rava, Gatto, Marcotulli, Trotignon , De Vito, Salis, Bosso, Giammarco, Folmer, as well as ensembles that had never performed in Italy (Le Workshop de Lyon, La Campagnie des Musiques a Ouir, Laurent Dehors trio, Strasax), and also giving life to original productions, such as the great Italian-French orchestra "Assemblage" with a repertoire written specifically for the festival, the project by Stefano Benni and Paolo Damiani "Voyage" together with the string orchestra of the Grenoble Conservatory, the trio of Javier Girotto, Paul Rogers and Christ ophe Marguet, Gianluigi Trovesi and Sylvain Kassap up to bizarre and unprecedented encounters such as the Quintorigo with the eclectic French trumpeter Mederic Collignon.
