Sudeshna Bhattachary - Sarod
Sudeshna started learning Sarod from her father Pandit Krishna Mohan Bhattacharya, later she become a disciple of the world's greatest sarod maestro, the legend Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.
In 2003, the French Ministry of Culture invited Sudeshna to France and offered her a ten-year contract. She lived in Marseilles where she held concerts and workshops in France and abroad, made recordings and participated in cultural events.
In 2013, Sudeshna moved to Norway. In Norway, she lectured for master's students at Norway's Academy of Music.
Sudeshna is touring the world, teaching and recording music.
