Julian's current UK quartet Tetra, brings together the best of Britain's younger, contemporary jazz talent with Kit Downes piano, James Maddren Drums & Sam Lasserson bass. The band have toured extensivly in the UK and featured at major festivals like Cheltenham. Julian's compositions have been described as "supremely lyrical, with beautiful melodies whilst staying cliche free" by the Irish Times. They record their 2nd CD (Julian's 15th as a leader) in Udine, Italy from 10th November. They are looking to play 4 gigs prior to the recording. Release date for the CD is Autumn 2018.
